Join NBC 5 in supporting the World Craniofacial Foundation at the ORIX Butterfly Boogie 5K and 10K, Saturday, March 29, at the Reverchon Park along the Katy Trail in Dallas.

Every 4 seconds one out of 500 children is born with a craniofacial abnormality. The ORIX Butterfly Boogie supports the World Craniofacial Foundation, a non-profit organization, dedicated to providing help, hope and healing for children with craniofacial abnormalities. All children deserve access to excellent treatment, regardless of socioeconomic or geographic limitations. Craniofacial surgery is much more than a medical procedure; it is the transformation of a child’s life.

Funds raised through the Butterfly Boogie race enable the Foundation to provide for craniofacial treatment and help with secondary costs, resources for families, and continuing education for physicians, plus crucial, hands-on surgical training for young doctors.
