Jessica Simpson wants Tony Romo to appear in the music video for her first country music single "Come On Over."

Simpson would love to kick start her country career with a cameo from a real Dallas Cowboy. A friend of the couple tells OK! "Tony said he'd love to support her."

But Romo is reportedly concerned, the friend tells OK! "If it's not for publicity, he thinks this might be fun for them to do together."

The friends adds: "Nothing is set right now."

Simpson's no stranger to casting love interests in her music videos, ex-husband Nick Lachey appeared in a handful of her videos, and they appeared together in the videos for their two duets "Where You Are" and "Sweetest Sin."

What guy in their right mind would want to do the same sort of video???

Nick and Jess looked hot, happy and in love back then, what are you going to do to top that?

Not to mention that you can't do anything with waterfalls, beds on beaches, in the sand, etc. because that was all in "Sweetest Sin"

And you can't do anything in a diner, on a carousel, or in a forest or park because of "Where You Are."

So what it'll be a "Cowboy" video he's in his jersey and she begs him to come over to her barn complete with hay bales, and a tractor? GAG ME!

DON'T DO IT TONY!

And why would you want to appear in a music video that will live forever on YouTube long after you break up?

I sort of want to ask her that, I don't think guys give that stuff a second thought, but a lot of chicks do.
