OAK CLIFF, Texas -- Dallas police are looking for a smash and grab robber while a Dallas business owner cleans up a mess.

Surveillance video shows the thief at work at the Dallas Kwikway at Polk and Camp Wisdom. He threw a rock through the front door of the Oak Cliff store, went inside and stole cigarettes and lottery tickets, police said.

Store owner Riaz Hussein said it wasn’t the first time he’d been robbed. “It’s very, very frustrating,” he said.

Hussein said he plans to install more burglar bars in an effort to stop the crooks.

Hussein said he thinks his store has been burglarized a lot more since Dallas police started the verified alarm program. Police stats show the number of business burglaries in Dallas is almost the same this year compared to last year.

About an hour later, someone threw a rock through the front door of a Dollar Store just a few miles from the Kwikway. Investigators said they don't know if the incidents are related.
