ROWLETT, Texas -- Police arrested a North Texas high school football coach in an apparent sting operation.Denton police arrested Rowlett High School coach Robert Rigby on Monday afternoon, accusing him of sending inappropriate pictures to an undercover police officer. They said the officer was pretending to be a 15-year-old girl.Video
Rigby teaches social studies and is an assistant football coach.School officials said that Rigby will be placed on administrative leave while the district conducts an investigation. They said that there is no indication that he was ever improper with a student.Police arrested Rigby at his Rowlett home and are investigating his computer. He is being held on $10,000 bond.
