As she was checking out, the man complimented her, saying her hair was pretty."I said, 'OK, thank you,'" she said. The woman, who NBC 5 is not identifying, said she realized she wasn't alone when she went to shut her apartment door."When I got ready to shut it, he just pushed me on in," she said. The man held a can opener to her neck while he raped her, she said."That's the scariest feeling in the world, being raped," she said. "That's scary."The woman said she begged the man not to attack her."I said, 'Please don't do this to me. Please don't do this to me,'" she said. The woman said she hopes the man does not rape someone else but fears he will."Cause I don't want to be scared for the rest of my life because they ain't caught him," she said. She said the man was careful to not leave evidence behind. He took the can opener and other items that could have been incriminating with him, she said.Dallas police said they hope surveillance video from the gas station will help identify her attacker.Until then, customers said they are wary."I feel safe to talking to you out right here now, but that doesn't mean someone couldn't follow us from here," one woman told an NBC 5 reporter.
