Flower Mound Dentist Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Patient

FLOWER MOUND, Texas -- Police said they arrested a Flower Mound dentist on sexual assault charges on Tuesday afternoon.According to a police report, a female patient said Dr. Spencer Page sexually assaulted her.Page, 32, works at 6 Day Orthodontics and Dental on Long Prairie Road in Flower Mound.
The incident was reported to police in March 2007. A Denton County grand jury found enough evidence to recently charge Page with sexual assault.Maria Spangler, who works next door, said she never expected anything like the incident."It's a little freaky," she said. "We can hear kind of through the wall when they're working on patients, and it creeps me out."Page was released from the Denton County Jail on Tuesday night on a $10,000 bond.Page could not be reached for comment at his home."Of course, we're concerned about the issue, and we welcome an investigation to get all the facts out," said Chad Backus in a written statement from 6 Day Orthodontics and Dental.Page is a graduate of Baylor University and is licensed by the state of Texas in sedation dentistry.
