FORT WORTH, Texas -- The chance of severe storms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area has ended, although severe weather will continue off to the south and east.

The Metroplex could see a few more light showers overnight, but the severe weather is not expected, NBC 5 chief meteorologist David Finfrock said.
Central Texas, however, will continue to see high winds and hail overnight, Finfrock said.Storms early Tuesday afternoon brought quarter-size hail to Midlothian and dime-size hail to Alvarado. Graham reported golf-ball-sized hail on Tuesday.
