Man Faces Intoxication Manslaughter Charges In Fatal Crash

FORT WORTH, Texas -- A Burleson man was charged with intoxication manslaughter after a deadly crash late Friday night.Officers said Christopher Alami, 21, was arrested shortly after the crash south of Fort Worth along Interstate 35.Investigators said Alami rear-ended a gray Hyundai sport utility vehicle before losing control of his black Lexus and slamming into the guardrail at about 11:10 p.m.
A 36-year-old Fort Worth woman who was a passenger in Alami's car died in the crash.The two people in the gray SUV, a mother and son, were not hurt.Alami was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and was later arrested on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter.
