Firefighters Battle Blaze At DeSoto Strip Center

DESOTO, Texas -- Firefighters from five cities battled a blaze that raged for several hours Tuesday morning at a strip center in DeSoto.

The three-alarm fire broke out at about 7 a.m. Tuesday at the Peking Dragon restaurant on Hampton Road near Pleasant Run Road.
The roof of the restaurant in the middle of the strip center caved in. The Star Donuts shop on the south end of the strip center was also destroyed in the fire.The fire did not affect a day care center near the strip center.There is no word on the cause of the blaze.
