Two Women Found Dead In Car

POSTED: 7:18 am CDT June 30, 2008
UPDATED: 7:48 pm CDT June 30, 2008

Police said Sunday they have no motive or suspects in the weekend shooting deaths of two Granbury women whose bodies were found in a parked vehicle outside a plumbing business.

Police are investigating the deaths of Robyn Deann Richter, 32, and Shawna Rachelle Ferris, 35, as homicides.

Their bodies were found at about 8 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of South Morgan Street.

Police Sgt. Rodney Casey told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that police have no motives or suspects. "We are still interviewing," he said.

Casey said an employee of the plumbing business called police Saturday morning after seeing the two women -- who the employee believed were sleeping -- slumped over in the front seat of a sport utility vehicle.

Police found the women dead from what appeared to be gunshots in the head, Casey said.
