DENTON, Texas -- North Texas students gathered around a flagpole Monday to mourn two 15-year-olds who died in a Saturday morning wreck.
Students will have an opportunity to speak with grief counselors to help them cope with the loss.
A tractor-trailer hit a car with five teens when the car turned in front of the truck at the intersection of Teasley Lane and Lillian Miller Parkway. The driver reportedly suffered minor injuries.Police said two 15-year-olds, Jake Holley and Adam King, were killed. Both were honor students.Friends went to King's church Sunday to console each other.Denton police said they found a 30-pack of beer in the car but, at this point, they don't believe that the driver was drinking.Test results are expected back Tuesday, NBC 5 reported.Correction: NBC 5 and nbc5i.com erroneously reported that those injured were Joe Hundt, 15, David Witt, 14, and driver William Moore, 15.
