DALLAS -- A team of cosmetic surgeons is giving Botox and Restalyne shots in the oddest place. Forget the doctor's office, many North Texas women are coming to the mall for Botox and Restalyne, to a place called Klinger.

Klinger is a spa, salon and "cosmedical" center all in one. The store teams with plastic surgeons from UT Southwestern Medical Center to provide safe, yet speedy light medical procedures.

The war on wrinkles can be rigorous, not to mention pricey, but most women, like Stacy Merritt of Dallas, are in for the wrangling.

"As you get older, you need a little bit of help." Merritt said.

UTSW Plastic Surgeon Jeff Kenkel said women are flocking to his office from all over North Texas.

"It is quick for them, they can do other things while they are there. They can get their hair done, their facials, their nails, what have you, and do their shopping all in one trip," Kenkel said.

Even though the service is quick, Kenkel said quality care is not sacrificed.

"It's not just a quick stop, get your Botox and go, we want to make sure that it is the right thing for that patient," said Kenkel.

Merritt visited Klinger for Botox and Restalyne shots. She goes straight from the doctor's chair to lunch with friends in the mall an hour later.

Merritt said she appreciates the convenience. "You're able to come in, get a botox shot and then have lunch or go shopping."

Klinger also offers laser hair removal and will soon expand to leg vein treatments.

The concept of providing cutting edge cosmetic procedures that are also prompt fits today's on the go lifestyles.
