A Garland woman is making noise about cables left in the middle of her street.

Tara Fedric says she wants Time Warner Inc., to pick up a mess she said it made more than three weeks ago in the 400 block of Atherton Road in Garland.

"They walk in the morning and they walk in the evening when it cools off," Fedric said. "Somebody’s going to really fall and break a hip, is what I'm afraid of," she said.

Time Warner marked off the spots to bury the wires, but three months later the cables are still in the street.

"I'm very frustrated. I'm on the verge of being very angry with them," she said.

The cables snake in front of resident Bob Slay's house and he wants the wires gone.

"We pay our bills, why don't they do their part?" he said.

NBC 5 tried calling Time Warner to find out when they planned to fix the problem. A representative said they would have someone check on the lines on Tuesday afternoon.

Fedric and Slay said that the work should have been done months ago.

“If I had let my cable bill go for three or four months, you think I'd still be getting cable? Probably not."

A representative for Time Warner apologized and said the work had fallen through the cracks. He also assured NBC 5 that the problem would be taken care of by Thursday.
