FORT WORTH, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys will start training camp for the 2004 NFL season later this week, but for now the focus is on building a new stadium.

The Arlington City Council will host a special session Monday afternoon to discuss a proposal to fund the construction of the Dallas Cowboys' new home.
City leaders have already met with the team several times, the most recent meeting just last Friday.The mayor of Arlington is confident the city could finance the project after successfully funding the construction of the Rangers' home, Ameriquest Field.Officials with the Cowboys said they are keeping their options open and have not yet decided on a city to host the project.
